Traditional milk thistle extract. For liver protection and support. Preservative-free.

Milk thistle liquid supplement is used in herbal medicine as a liver protector (hepatoprotective agent) to help support liver function and to help relieve digestive disorders (dyspepsia).

Silymarin, the main active ingredient in milk thistle, is found only in the fruit. It is composed of three flavonoids: silychristin, silydianin, and silybin. Silymarin acts directly on hepatocytes, making it more difficult for them to absorb toxins, stimulating their elimination, and promoting liver tissue regeneration.

Like other flavonoids, silymarin also has powerful free radical scavenging properties, thus preventing certain toxic products from causing liver damage.

Interestingly, silymarin is extracted using only alcohol. That's why our product contains 35% orange oil-flavored alcohol.

RECOMMENDED USES

Milk thistle is generally recognized for :

Helping to relieve digestive disorders;

Helping to relieve hangovers.

RECOMMENDED DOSE

Children and adolescents (1 to 17 years): Consult a health care practitioner.

Adults (18 years and older): 1 tablespoon (15 ml), 2 times daily.

*May be diluted in a glass of water or juice.

DURATION OF USE

For use over 3 months, consult a health care practitioner.

To avoid contamination of the product, do not drink from the bottle. Consume within four weeks of opening.

Water by reverse osmosis, vegetable glycerin, citric acid, alcohol, orange oil. Each 10 ml contains 3.5 ml of alcohol.

* No dairy, wheat, gluten, yeast or corn products.

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
