The Soap Works Cucumber & Calendula Soap is an all-vegetarian soap containing cucumber, a gentle cleansing agent and skin tonic, and calendula.

Calendula is rich in flavonoids, which largely explains its anti-inflammatory activity in the treatment of minor skin abrasions.

Every summer, when fresh local cucumbers are available, The Soap Works buys bushels of them. They peel and squeeze them.

There's cucumber everywhere because they make liters of cucumber juice. They add this juice to the soap bar, along with calendula. Both of these ingredients are designed to soothe the skin.
