Recent news about the possible role of Quercetin to help prevent Coronavirus.
According to a Radio-Canada article, Dr. Michel Chrétien, doctor and researcher at the Montreal Clinical Research Institute, said that:
“Quercetin (a plant substance) could act in a preventive and curative way on the Coronavirus. "
Quercetin is a plant flavonol from the flavonoid group of polyphenols. It is found in many fruits, vegetables, leaves, seeds and grains. Its antioxidant properties can help reduce inflammation, allergy symptoms as well as blood pressure. According to Dr. Chrétien, Quercetin has been used successfully in tests against Ebola and Zika viruses. Naturiste has not verified this claim.
