Supports and improves digestion.

DIGEX contains herbs that are (traditionally) used in herbal medicine as a diuretic, laxative (aperitif) and to help increase bile flow (cholagogue and choleretic).

Also used to help stimulate appetite, to help treat digestive disorders (dyspepsia) and to help relieve digestive discomfort, including loss of appetite, nausea, digestive spasms, indigestion, dyspepsia and flatulent colic (carminative).

Also traditionally used in herbal medicine to help expel intestinal worms (vermifuge/antihelmintic) and to eliminate ringworm (Tinea corporis).

RECOMMENDED DOSE

Adult: 2 teaspoons (5 ml), in a little water, 3 times a day.

Shake well before use.

MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS

Milk thistle, Dandelion root, Black walnut root, Ginger root, Curly sorrel, Barberry root extract, Garlic bulb.

Sugarcane alcohol (35-40%), purified water.

Please consult a health care practitioner if: you have liver or gallbladder disease and/or bowel obstruction, you are taking thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or other drugs or health products that may worsen electrolyte imbalance, you have kidney disease or are taking medication for heart conditions such as cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic drugs, or you have fecal impaction or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you suffer from abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing bowel blockage, atonic constipation, appendicitis, inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with loss of water or electrolytes or diarrhea.

KNOWN SIDE EFFECTS

Discontinue use if hypersensitivity/allergy occurs or if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhea.
